On inspection day she scored all 9's for scores in the jump chute, a rare feat, and also scored high enough in the in-hand portion and riding portion to achieve an overall score high enough to qualify her as an Elite mare. It was also announced over the winter that Penny achieved the highest overall scores for jumping in the entire country for the entire 2017 inspection tour! The National Award is the Benchmark High Score Jumping Award.
